Steven Gerard of SG Celebrity Productions books Nickelodeons Drake Bell (Rising Music Star on Universal Motown) to Invade Local Malls
Los Angeles, CA (PRWeb) January 27, 2007 -- Celebrated actor and musician Drake Bell will be performing at local area malls to promote his sophomore effort "It's Only Time" during the month of January and into February. Currently on an extensive national radio promotion tour, the accomplished Bell (he plays guitar and piano), wants to get up-close and personal with fans before he embarks on his national tour later this year.
Drake Bell began his acting career at the age of 5, learning how to play the guitar at 12 years old from none other than The Who legend Roger Daltrey while filming the movie Changing Destiny. He has appeared in numerous TV and movie roles, with his big break coming in 2004 when he was cast to play Drake on the acclaimed Nickelodeon series The Drake & Josh Show, benefiting from his acclaimed appearances on the hit Nickelodeon sketch-comedy series The Amanda Show. Bell has said his character Drake Parker is a mere extension of his musical persona in real life, composing all the songs he plays on the show, including the hit theme song "Found A Way."
Drake Bell released his album in December 2006 on Universal Motown, lead by the first single "I Know" which continues to be a growing hit at radio and remains in rotation at MTV. Since his release, he has appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly, NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien, MTV's TRL and on the Fox New Year's Eve Special.
