Michael Pedicin Explodes Back to the Music Scene with New CD and Opening of The Jazz Hut
(PRWEB) May 10, 2007 -- Michael Pedicin is back where he belongs at the top of the jazz scene landscape. Long regarded as one of the best tenor sax players in the world Mike Pedicin is making his mark again by not only releasing a brand new Jazz CD, but taking part in an innovative and groundbreaking project in the Atlantic City, NJ, area called The Jazz Hut. This is only fitting, since much of Pedicin's early success and acclaim came down by the Jersey Shore. Pedicin not only performed his musical magic in the Atlantic City casinos, he also served as musical director in three of them.
The Jazz Hut is a venture created by Pedicin to establish a venue for not only himself, but other jazz artists to play and sell their own self produced CDs in a beautiful seashore environment. Historical Gardner's Basin is the location that Pedicin chose to make his music. In addition to Pedicin and his friends, people will be able to view and purchase some of the best jazz photo's in the country thanks to internationally known photographer, Popsie. Popsie's gallery of photos reads like a who's who of the business. Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie and Frank Sinatra, just to name a few. The photos, along with the Jazz CDs and other memorabilia will all be at Gardner's Basin at the Jazz Hut and available for purchase. Of course, the best part of being at The Jazz Hut will be to hear Michael Pedicin do what he loves and what he does best. Play jazz like no one else and have a great time.
Pedicin's new CD, Everything Starts Now will be available this summer and features some of the elite jazz musicians around including Johnnie Valentino (guitar), Mick Rossi (piano), Chris Colangelo (bass) and Michael Sarin (drums).Pedicin continues to play and work with the finest New York and L.A. based jazz musicians.
