Lansdowne, VA (PRWEB) July 18, 2007 -- The new restaurants and shops, just steps from the new homes, may generate the most excitement at Lansdowne Town Center. But on Saturday, July 7th, Town Square was the place to be.
The festive, Fourth of July holiday atmosphere continued right into the weekend as people from all over Lansdowne gathered on the Town Square lawn to enjoy live music by the Jon Fritz Band.
While most people simply relaxed with friends and neighbors, some of the most enthusiastic concert-goers, specifically the eight and under crowd, actually got up and danced to the band's energetic mix of rock, alternative and country.
"This was such a great event for our community," said Laurie Shultz, Director of Sales and Marketing, Lansdowne Development Group. "We're so proud of how Lansdowne Town Center is becoming the new social hub for not only Lansdowne but this entire part of Loudoun County."
The July 7th concert was the second of Lansdowne Town Center's free summer concert series. The summer finale is Saturday, August 4th with the Passion Band, a local reggae band with a tremendous following in the Washington Metropolitan area.

"That's when the shops and restaurants really come alive and you get a sense of how walkable and vibrant and active the community is."
