HOLLYWOOD (Business Wire EON) February 26, 2008 -- The 2008 WorldSong online music competition is open to all to submit their original music and music videos to gain worldwide promotion and compete for cash and exciting prizes.

Over $11,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded in 2008 WorldSong music contest.

More than $11,000 in cash and prizes will be presented to winners of the music contest at a gala event in Hollywood in December. Several additional prizes, including Apple(R) iPod(R) Touch mobile digital devices, will be awarded in drawings in the coming months.

Artists are urged to submit their entries to the WorldSong online music competition as soon as possible in order to qualify for more prizes and to get more promotion and feedback from worldwide fans and peers.

Artists can enter the online music competition in eleven broad music genres popular around the world, encompassing acoustic music, bluegrass music, classical music, country music, electronic music, folk music, funk music, hip-hop music, indie music, latin music, music videos, new music, pop music, punk music, R&B music, reggae music, soul music, Indian Desi music, and world music.
