Dusted are delighted to see Sport England have launched the ‘Club Matters’ branding and identity we have been working on over the past few months. It’s been a really rewarding process from the initial strategy and naming through to the complete communications toolkit we provided.
The service will aim to engage all sports across England helping and advising them in all matters of running a club. The main communications will be through an online portal delivering tools, hints & tips, resources and training materials.
Club Matters is Sport England’s one-stop-shop for sports clubs. They provide free, convenient, practical resources to help volunteers develop and run a sustainable club. The new brand brings together all of Sport England’s previous support projects – Club Leaders, Clubmark and Help for Clubs – into one simple resource as well as giving new, innovative tools and access to personal support. It’s been carefully designed to give sports leaders what they want in an easy to use and practical way.
We were briefed to create a brand name and flexible visual identity across both digital and traditional communications – to help deliver a wealth of information across a diverse range of clubs and sports throughout England.
The identity is visually brought to life through a strong graphic language of interlinking hexagons that form frameworks, structures and connections to visually represent the type of guidance and support the hub delivers. Colour plays an important part within the identity adding vibrancy, movement and passion to inject the passion and dynamism of volunteers.
We look forward to seeing the brand and service gather momentum over the coming year – watch this space to see a full case study on the project soon.
