Our brief was to build the brand and mobile app for iOS and Android, providing a platform for feedback and reviews. A scalable web app to view, analyse and export performance data was also developed. With an array of benefits, this web app was a key marketing tool to encourage business uptake of the product. Working with the Heerd start-up team, we delivered a logo, the visual identity, responsive website and user interface designs. Insight gathered from persona development, journey mapping and detailed wireframing exercises helped inform design. Strategic elements included the functional specification, database architecture planning, platform selection and metrics analysis. Product build centered on the Cordova and Angular frameworks, enabling the rollout of a hybrid app for use on iOS and Android. Laravel was employed as the back-end framework for the web application for businesses.
