Refinitiv is one of the world’s largest providers of financial data, analytics and infrastructure, powering decisions for over 40,000 institutions and 400,000 professionals across nearly 190 markets. Refinitiv’s purpose has always been to help organisations make confident decisions through intelligent data.
Now part of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), its Wealth Management business lacked definition within this vast ecosystem. It had world-class technology and global reach, yet no distinct proposition to match. Internally, teams knew what they needed to say, but not how to say it. The brand framework was fixed, the audience highly specific, and the challenge was creating emotional cut-through within the precision of a global system.
We helped Refinitiv articulate and visualise their story, crafting a premium, future-ready creative platform that brought clarity, distinction and human depth to a complex offer. Not a rebrand, but a brand within a brand.
We developed the market proposition for Refinitiv’s Wealth Management Solutions, positioning it around the idea of a Full Spectrum, a concept that captured both the breadth and precision of their offer. Tailored for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth audiences, it reframed the internal brief — “we offer all the tools anyone needs” — into a focused, differentiated go-to-market positioning built for clarity and confidence.
Refinitiv’s core positioning was already defined in-house. Our task was to bring clarity and distinction to its Wealth Management story. We created a visual and verbal language that felt premium, personal and precise, all while sitting seamlessly within the parameters of the established global brand system.
We brought the Full Spectrum concept to life through light. A prism of illuminated bands, shards and facets represented the range of Refinitiv’s tailored services.
The system flexed between conceptual and functional use, from dynamic prismic gradients to content-driven layouts populated with personas and insight. Imagery was art-directed to feel modern and aspirational. Affluent without being cliché, blending sophistication with clarity across every touchpoint.
We delivered a complete go-to-market messaging platform and visual toolkit for Refinitiv’s Wealth Management offer. The design system extended across PowerPoint templates, sales decks and web concepts, creating consistency across every touchpoint. Alongside the creative framework, we provided comprehensive brand documentation, enabling Refinitiv’s in-house team to implement and scale the system with precision worldwide.
We worked with Refinitiv’s in-house creative and marketing teams — from their Creative Director to the Design Manager — to understand the brand system inside out. Together, we explored how far we could push within the boundaries, finding space for distinction without breaking consistency.
