It’s that time of the year again! The Transform Awards Europe, known for celebrating creative excellence and innovation, recently hosted their 15th annual gala at The Brewery in Central London.

Dusted participated alongside other leaders in brand and design to pick up accolades across eight different categories for our outstanding collaborations with Leathwaite, Beacon, dormakaba, Mecsia and Mahindra.

We were excited to partake in the Transform Awards for the seventh year in a row. Competing alongside major industry players, Dusted managed to once again make a mark:

  • Gold for Leathwaite in Best rebrand of a digital property
  • Gold for Leathwaite in Best brand evolution (business)
  • Silver for Beacon in Best visual identity (pharmaceutical)
  • Silver for dormakaba in Best brand development implementation
  • Bronze for Mecsia in Best visual identity (property)
  • Bronze for Beacon in Best (new) naming strategy
  • Highly Commended for Mahindra in Best visual identity (agriculture)
  • Highly Commended for Leathwaite in Best visual identity (professional services)

As we raise our glasses to these achievements, it’s the dual gold wins for our work with Leathwaite that stand out, reflecting not just the quality of our creative solutions but also the depth of our strategic insight.

Discovering Exceptional: Leathwaite’s journey to Gold

Our rebrand of Leathwaite aimed to redefine the approach to executive search by positioning them as premium providers of leadership placement.

Traditionally, search firms have been perceived as commoditised, focusing merely on transactions. Leathwaite wanted to disrupt this view by emphasising their unique approach: the hunt for the extraordinary, the exceptional, the leaders who are not just found but discovered.

In revitalising Leathwaite’s brand, we devised a strategy that matched their long-standing reputation as a curator of elite talent, targeting high-calibre individuals. This transformation involved a complete overhaul of their visual identity with every element – from typography to colour palettes – meticulously selected to reflect the premium nature of the brand.

Recognising the radical move towards a high-end look, one judge remarked:

It feels very bold, confident and premium. I loved the simplicity and clarity of this. The idea of a rare find is pulled through in the visual language and design.

Another judge also praised the “subtle use of the identity, bringing the service to light quite clearly. It’s super simple with clear storytelling.”

Additionally, we developed a dynamic new website, focusing on both aesthetics and functionality, to enhance user experience and interaction. The redesign was underpinned by comprehensive brand guidelines that ensured the new identity was consistently applied across all platforms, solidifying its internal and external perception.

In response to our work, Sally Anderson, The Global Marketing Director at Leathwaite, commented:

It was an absolute pleasure working with Jack and the Dusted team. It’s really helped to build confidence in the brand, globally, and we all love the end result. The Transform award wins are the icing on the cake!

– Sally Anderson, Chief Marketing Officer

This project was a testament to the power of collaboration. From the initial brand immersion sessions with Leathwaite’s senior leadership to the final rollout of the communications toolkit, it was a partnership that reflected true synergy. We thank them for all their open-mindedness and support at every step of the process.

To new heights

These remarkable achievements across all eight categories underscore the potential of blending creativity with strategic excellence. The accomplishments we’ve garnered at the Transform Awards are not just accolades. They prove our commitment to raising the bar in bringing brands to life.

Here’s to continued excellence, to transforming industry perceptions, and to setting new benchmarks in branding innovation across all our partnerships!
